Competitive Cheer

Competitive Cheer takes athletes  into a high energy, skills focused environment where they train in stunting, jumps, tumbling, dance, showmanship, teamwork, and develop performance confidence. Unlike sideline cheer, which centers on supporting our football teams, competitive cheer is a sport of its own, judged on precision, execution, creativity, and athletic skill.

To try out for Competitive Cheer, athletes must participate in our sideline cheer program. This ensures they build foundational skills, teamwork, and program experience before entering a higher-level competitive environment.

Athletes ages 7-14 are eligible to participate. Prior competitive experience is not required, only commitment, effort, and a positive attitude.

Season Overview

Competitive Cheer begins after the sideline season with separate tryouts. The season runs through the winter months with structured practices focused on routine mastery, safe technique, and performance readiness.

Expectations

Competitive Cheer requires a high level of commitment and dedication:

  • Mandatory practices
  • Attendance at all competitions
  • Participation in team fundraisers
  • Strong work ethic, teamwork, and communication

Our teams compete in JAMZ events, culminating in JAMZ Nationals in Las Vegas, one of the largest and most prestigious youth cheer competitions in the country.

  • In 2026, both of our competitive teams took first place in their divisions, with our 13U team earning the title of Grand Champions, outscoring over 650 teams. This achievement showcases our athletes’ dedication, our coaches’ expertise, and the strength of our cheer program.
